When my theater upgraded to reserved seating it was so great to have this app. I dont know what happened but I can no longer buy tickets in the app, which makes it useless. I have contacted Cinemark several times with no resolution. Hopefully they get the bug fixed so we can purchase movie tickets again.

Buggy af, extremely ugly and hard to use. Barely any features and completely unintuitive.

This stupid rewards program doesnt give you anything you actually want. Hey Cinemark, nobody wants Bad Santa 2 branded crappy headphones. They want free popcorns or sodas. Absolutely worthless.

Does Cinemode even work anymore?! Cant find it in the app.

Love the app but I want my barcode rewards scanner in my apple wallet that way, before I pay with Apple Pay I can get my barcode scanned then pay using Apple Pay.!

Nothing wrong with the app itself really (the only thing is that I wish ticket prices would reflect the tax added based on location... its a little misleading when it says a ticket is $6.25, but Im charged $6.77 at the Box office because of tax that was only added over the summer). The main thing though is I want the Rewards and Points to be better. You should get points based on total cost/number of tickets purchased, not just each transaction. And more importantly, the rewards need some improvement. I dont want posters or a chance to win something. I want a free drink or candy or popcorn. Even better, a free movie ticket or even a discount on tickets if nothing else.

No good even as entertainment. Rip off app dont waste your time.

They take the rewards away as fast as you can earn them. If you got the money to watch movies. You probably wont be interested in their crappy rewards they offer and take away. The app is only useful to look up movie times. Dont waste your energy on trying to earn rewards total waste of time. If I earn something I should be able to keep it.

Battery drains within no time (especially when we put in CineMode). Not so many great features. Should need lot of improvement & add more features

I downloaded this app soon as I opened it up it said you had to agree with the user agreement but it doesnt download or use agreement so you can agree with it So im giving this app a one star it doesnt work on my platform so good.

This app is a bit confusing to use and the "rewards" they offer for using "Cinemode" during a movie are things like "Free Small Fountain Drink With the Purchase of Nachoes" or "$1 Off a Fountain Drink" and the coupons only last for less than a month. The prices of tickets (about $13) and concessions (popcorn is at least $5) are already extremely high. Not really worth the effort unless you see a movie with Cinemark every single day or something.

Not only do I earn points that I can redeem for movie swag and concessions, but they also send me screening invites just for using the app. Even works at the Cinemark dollar theater near me. When I didnt receive my Connection points, support staff were very helpful in getting me my points. This has happened a few times now, so I have made sure to request my receipt at concessions to expedite the troubleshooting when contacting support. Without receipt, you will be asked for some payment and purchase info and they can usually find this in their system. In app ordering and refunding is made super easy and convenient. But the processing fee is pretty unnecessarily steep if you ask me. My only qualm is that the theaters havent equipped the QR readers to the TVM (ticket vending machines) that would normally allow one to skip the lines at the box office. The app and Connections reward program have potential and overall work well at the moment. But there is plenty of room for improvement. Update: After extensive and steady use of the app in the last 7 months, I have been very pleased and happy with what Cinemark app is as a whole has become. I see a lot of movies and have been saving up points. Recently cashed in on a Google Nexus 6P for the equivalent of what was probably 15 movie tickets, mostly early birds. Thank you Cinemark! Now you can link your Connections ID number with your Fandango account. So even if you buy tickets through Fandango you can get your Connection points.

I am unable to pull up a scanner in the Scan section of the app. Not sure how to benefit if you cant scan or manually enter codes to accumulate reward points.

This is a worthless app. Not even worth downloading. Doesnt give you coupons worth the time. I only go to cinemark cinemas but I still wont bother with this app. The only reason cinemark would create such a useless app is because they dont want to give discounts. Save your time and headache and dont download this app.

Has worked well in the past but last weekend, bought tickets for a 7:30 show. Got to the theater and checked in, only to be given tickets for the 6:40 showing of my movie? Didnt know until we walked into the movie already an hour in. There was no 7:30 show. Times in the app were wrong but it seems like the QR code was wrong, too. Otherwise it should have stopped me at the attendant.

The app is ok. I did just start using it today so only giving it 3 stars for now. One feature, Cinemode, says will give you coupon for using Cinemode and it did. But the coupon expires 5/4/2016 and today is 5/2/2016. That pretty much makes the coupon worthless as I dont go to the theatre every day. I dont think many people do. So I wont be using the Cinemode part of the app anymore. Will see how the rest goes over time.

Loving the new Connections program. So easy to use and earn points. Great job!

Nice to see those bugs go away. Waiting for more exciting Connections rewards!

None of our family iPhones can add movie tickets anymore, despite having worked in the past. Seems to have broken relatively recently.
