Cinemark Theatres App Reviews

The rewards for going into "Cinamode" do not last long enough. I went to the movie last week, earned a reward, and this week it is not available to me. Frustrating. I am a busy mom and may not make it to a movie each week. Rewards should last at least a month.

I like it a lot but it would nice to have cinemode as a 3D Touch feature

Yes it says save tickets to passbook, but they ho to wallet. Able to find theater, movie schedules, purchase tickets, and add them to wallet without any problem. Havent tried any of the rewards part of the app. But I didnt download it for that. Just want to be able to purchase tickets in advance and get into theater to watch a movie. If they work, then bonus.

CineMode not working on iPhone 5c. After switching CineMode to On, the Done button is disabled along with the entire screen and cannot be selected to complete the process.

I know we are all trying to make our buck and keep staying afloat but I do not understand why I am asked to pay Cinemark directly a higher service charge through this app than what is charged by a 3rd party like Fandango? The higher price makes no sense if I am going direct to Cinemark and their systems rather than Fandango. A bigger question is: why is the consumer paying a convenience charge for a transaction that is handled by a machine and not an employee using machinery along with no paper being printed for the tickets. Isnt it convenient and cost saving for Cinemark too?

app crashes when loading up. Please fix

I tried to find my theater but nothing would pop up. It didnt work at all. I put in my area and still nothing. No theaters popped up. This app was a waste of my time.

Tried this app for cinemode to get the rewards. The rewards expires a week after you get it. Plus, when I was going to pay to use my rewards, the cashier told me that, that coupon was already used? My gosh! Its not worth it! Im deleting you now.

Would actually use this app if it werent for the BS fee to buy tix.

I have contacted customer service regarding the app not "giving" rewards after one has watched a movie. The response was update your phone. The only rewards I have been able to get are for free small popcorn when you purchase a drink. This reward is obsolete. My husband already purchased their refillable popcorn but and drink cup; pretty good deal for $7.50; and I am allergic to corn so I cant have popcorn or soda. The reward system needs to be updated; it should be based on how many point you earn for how much you spend; I should have the right to bank points for movies instead of worthless rewards I am unable to access or use....only reason we patronize Century is the price before 6pm -- it was $5 before this week but now it has gone to $5.15 per ticket....and now $5.25. Dont waste your phone space with this app.

The app is fine for the most part. Im more inclined to complain that when I went to purchase tickets via the app, I was going to be charged almost $4 in fees. I just canceled and waited until I got to the theater. This is taking the "convenience fee" to a whole new level!

Ive updated the app but now it wont load. Its stuck on the Terms and Conditions screen, with no terms & conditions listed and only an I Agree button that does nothing. I use this app every week - please fix!!!

Since the last update it will not open. Just says "cleaning" underneath the icon. Deleted and reinstalled and still the same thing.

It is good for checking showtime a and movie description. There are other apps that do this also. It has a feature for "cine mode" to reward you for turning phone on silent, however, the reward expires the same day you get it after a movie you just watched.

The only problem I have with the app is the Cine Mode. Its gives you a reward that expires in 24 hrs. Not cool, many people cannot afford to make a 2nd trip to the movies to use. Rethink the reward to at least 30 days.

An extra fee for buying tickets from in the app?! Low Rez trailers. No passport integration. Clunky interface. Sad that web site provide better interface then this. Sticking to googles theater web page and uninstalling app. Gave it another shot this time it will not even load show times.

would not let me reserve seats. when I first tried to reserve seats, the entire theatre was empty and by the time I gave up on trying to reserve them the entire theatre was full and now I can go see a movie. reserved seating is the worst.

This app struggles to do what its supposed to which is to help you buy tickets, reserve seats, and add the tickets to your wallet. I wouldnt mind the service fee if the app just worked.

This app crashes all the time and is almost unusable. It also deletes your favorited cinemas. I really hope this app improves.
